Police officers from Prykarpattia region of Ukraine, Myroslav Rozhok and Mykola Kalinchuk, who demanded a thousand dollars for the closure of criminal proceedings against the OnlyFans model, were dismissed from service.
This was reported by the Main Directorate of the National Police in Ivano-Frankivsk region in response to a request from People’s Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak (Ярослав Железняк), which is at the disposal of the portal "Economic Truth".
"In accordance with Articles 11 and 12 of the Disciplinary Statute of the National Police, police officers, regardless of their position and special rank, are disciplinarily liable for violations of official discipline, and actions or inaction that undermine the authority of the police (or exceed the limits of their official powers are considered disciplinary offences", the police response states.
They noted that ‘in the course of a full, comprehensive and objective investigation by the disciplinary commission,’ a decision was made to dismiss two police officers who demanded a bribe from an OnlyFans model for the closure of criminal proceeding for the production and distribution of pornography.
In particular, the deputy head of the police department, the head of the investigative department of the 2nd Police Department (Gorodenka) (м. Городенка), Lieutenant Colonel Myroslav Volodymyrovych Rozhko, and the head of the criminal police sector of the 2nd Police Department (Gorodenka), Major Mykola Vasylovych Kalinchuk, were dismissed.
At the same time, the disciplinary commission established that Mykola Yaroslavovych Stoiko was not involved in the bribery case.
We would like to remind you that on 20 October, EP published an article about how police officers from Ivano-Frankivsk demanded a bribe for allegedly closing a criminal case under Article 301 of the Criminal Code against Anzhela (name changed at the woman’s request), an OnlyFans model.
At that time, EP managed to establish that one of the police officers was Myroslav Rozhko. The other police officer was named Mykola, and the woman, in a conversation with an EP journalist, suggested that it was Mykola Stoyko. However, as it turned out from the results of an internal police investigation, it was another employee – Mykola Kalynchuk.
EP also managed to obtain a recording of conversations in which this police officers hinted at a bribe to the woman, as well as a recording of a conversation in which Rozhko directly named the amount required to close the criminal case.
During the preparation of this material, EP also managed to find out that the mentioned police officers were allegedly planning to "catch them red-handed" by representatives of the Security Service of Ukraine (СБУ - Служба Безпеки України). However, it is likely that someone warned them about the planned operation, which is why the police officers stopped communicating with Angela.
